The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins

This book is one I couldn't put down. I loved this story. It's so easy to read.
Twenty four are forced to enter. Only the winners survive! In the ruins of a place known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capital surrounded by 12 outlying districts. Each year, the districts are forced by the Capital to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the Hunger Games, a brutal and terrifying fight to the death - telvised for all of Panem to see.

This book is truly gripping as we enter the Hunger Games with Katniss Everdeen, will she survive??

This is a must read and soon to be movie

The Mortal Instruments series - Cassandra Clare

This series is a fav of mine!
When 15 year old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New york CVity, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by 3 teenagers covered in strange tattoos. Clary knows she should call the polic, but its hard to explain when the body disappears into thin air and the murderers are invisible to everyone except Clary.

These books are great. If you like reading paranormal stories than you will love this series.
